Job summary

LCB Senior Living in Norwood, MA is seeking a Director of Learning to lead and cultivate learning opportunities for associates, driving growth for residents and the business. The role focuses on teaching new skills, elevating learning platforms, and increasing knowledge across the organization.

The Director will implement regulatory-aligned training, reinforce LCB Culture and Brand, and support learning initiatives that improve outcomes for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of director-level learning and development experience.
• Experience in regulated assisted living or healthcare training is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing.

Salary Range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 Salary

The Director of Learning provides and cultivates full learning opportunities and learning requirements for LCB associates, while encouraging growth opportunities and learning support to all. The Director of Learning is the process owner for increasing the productivity when it comes to learning, by teaching new skills, elevating current learning platforms, and increase knowledge of our associates for better outcomes to our residents and the business. The Director of Learning also plays an integral role in elevating our LCB Culture, LCB Brand, and to enhance the people who service our residents.

Qualifications

• Job experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role (director level) and/or have had exposure and a positive proven track record with learning and development in or out of industry.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The ability to interpret regulatory learning requirements in Assisted living, to support proper learning programs.
• The ability to communicate in English both orally and in writing is required.
• Requires frequent lifting, bending, stretching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Education/License: relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Valid driver’s license and auto insurance. Prefer college degree. May need to travel as needed.
• Experience: Learning development and management knowledge in the Senior Living Industry and/or education around communication, or effective training/learning, team building or HR equivalent experience in similar roles.
• Technical skills: Excellent communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Detail oriented and able to manage multiple task scenarios.
