Job summary

The Northwest Arkansas Council is seeking a Director of K-12 Pathways to coordinate talent development across 16 public school districts and collaborate with area employers. The role oversees pathway design, implementation, and quality metrics while tracking student outcomes to guide regional strategies.

As a senior program leader, you will build strong partnerships with schools and industry, ensuring effective alignment of education and workforce opportunities within the Northwest Arkansas

Qualifications

• 6-8 years experience in intermediary organizations, education systems, or workforce development
• Knowledge of career pathways, work-based learning, and industry partnerships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

The Northwest Arkansas Council is creating a new regional workforce intermediary (NARWI) and seeking a Director of K-12 Pathways to coordinate talent development efforts and partnerships with area employers.

Key Responsibilities

• K-12 Partnership Development – Build relationships with superintendents and CTE directors across 16 public school districts
• Employer Engagement – Serve as liaison between employers and K-12 providers
• Pathway Design and Implementation – Lead development of regional pathway models
• Program Quality – Establish quality standards and metrics
• Data Collection and Reporting – Track student outcomes

Requirements

• 6-8 years experience in intermediary organizations, education systems, or workforce development
• Knowledge of career pathways, work-based learning, and industry partnerships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
