Wise Temple seeks a visionary educational leader to guide Kehillah, its religious school for ages three through eighth grade. The Director will partner with clergy, staff, and families to evaluate current practices, implement innovative approaches, and create an engaging Jewish learning experience that deepens identity and belonging.

The role emphasizes inclusive education, collaboration with Shelanu leadership, and building a cohesive educational community across campuses.

Qualificações

• Experience leading educational programs, including curriculum development, learning outcomes, program administration, and lesson design.
• Proven ability to recruit, support, coach, and develop educators while fostering a positive team culture.
• Deep knowledge of Jewish traditions, values, history, and practice, with familiarity with Reform Jewish life.
• Experience working with children and families, with understanding of age-appropriate learning and student development.

Responsabilidades

• Provide visionary leadership for Jewish education by assessing curriculums, identifying growth opportunities, and developing a strategy to enhance learning and engagement.
• Design learning experiences that spark curiosity and connection for diverse learners, ensuring inclusivity and weekly engagement.
• Coordinate enrichment experiences (Torah Play, Teva, Music, Art, Sefer Safari, etc.) to complement core learning.
• Oversee Hebrew instruction, supervise faculty and tutoring, and enhance curriculum and outcomes.
• Build connections to Jewish identity, values, Israel, and contemporary Jewish life through meaningful educational experiences.
