RBC Bearings is seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and market-facing Director of Investor Relations to lead the Company's engagement with the investment community and further strengthen RBC's position among institutional investors, shareholders, and equity research analysts.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this individual will serve as the primary liaison between RBC Bearings and the investment community. The Director of Investor Relations will be responsible for shaping and communicating the Company's investment thesis, delivering clear and consistent messaging, and helping investors understand RBC's long-term growth strategy, financial performance, and value creation initiatives.

The ideal candidate possesses experience within the industrial manufacturing and Aerospace and Defense sectors. A strong foundation in finance, capital markets, and public company communications, including direct experience as an Equity Research Analyst, Buy-Side Analyst, Investment Banking professional, or Investor Relations leader at a publicly traded company.

This role requires exceptional executive presence, superior communication skills, deep financial acumen, and the ability to build credibility with senior leadership, institutional investors, and leading Wall Street analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that enhances shareholder value and strengthens RBC Bearings' market positioning.


• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership team to articulate a compelling and differentiated investment thesis.


• Develop a multi-year investor engagement roadmap designed to broaden RBC's institutional ownership and increase visibility within the investment community.


• Build and maintain strong relationships with analysts, institutional investors, portfolio managers, and other key stakeholders.

Equity Research & Capital Markets Engagement

• Expand and cultivate RBC's equity research.


• Serve as the primary point of contact for investor and analyst inquiries.


• Prepare management for investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and capital markets events.


• Monitor analyst models, reports, recommendations, and market sentiment to identify emerging trends and opportunities.


• Develop messaging and responses regarding market developments, competitive activity, and shareholder concerns.

Financial Communications

• Lead the preparation and execution of quarterly earnings releases, earnings call materials, scripts, presentations, and Q&A preparation.


• Coordinate earnings-related communications and post-call outreach activities with major investors and analysts.


• Support executive leadership in communicating business strategy, operational performance, and financial results.


• Assist in the development of investor presentations, annual reports, proxy materials, SEC filings, and shareholder communications.

Strategic Business Partnership

• Experienced and knowledgeable within the Industrial and or Aerospace and Defense Industry sector.


• A understanding of RBC Bearings' operations, products, end markets, competitive landscape, and growth strategy.


• Analyze financial results, industry trends, and market developments to provide strategic insights to senior leadership.


• Advise executive leadership on investor sentiment, ownership trends, valuation considerations, and shareholder expectations.


• Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Executive Leadership to ensure consistent external messaging.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure all investor communications comply with SEC regulations, disclosure requirements, and public company reporting standards.


• Collaborate with legal counsel to maintain adherence to Regulation FD and other applicable securities regulations.


• Support the preparation and review of earnings materials, SEC filings, and external communications from a disclosure perspective.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.


• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, or a related capital markets function.


• Prior experience as an Equity Research Analyst covering industrial, aerospace, manufacturing, multi-industrial, or engineered products sectors strongly preferred.


• Deep understanding of public company reporting, financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets.


• Demonstrated success building relationships with institutional investors and the equity research community.


• Proven ability to communicate complex financial, operational, and strategic information to sophisticated external audiences.


• Experience supporting earnings calls, investor presentations, analyst meetings, and major investor events.

Preferred

• MBA, CFA, or comparable advanced financial credential.


• Experience supporting a publicly traded industrial, aerospace, manufacturing, or engineered-products company.


• Experience engaging with both domestic and international investors.


• Familiarity with SEC reporting and disclosure requirements.
