MetroPlusHealth seeks a Director of Internal Audits to oversee financial and operational audits, assess internal controls, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will manage audit staff, develop risk-based plans, and report findings to the Audit Committee and leadership.

This role requires 5+ years in managed care with supervisory experience, proficiency in ACL/Excel, and strong communication skills. Travel across NYC locations is required to perform audits and coordinate enterprise-wide controls.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Managed Care industry with supervisory experience.
• Proficient with ACL, MS Word, Excel, or Access.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and perform full-scope audits (financial, operational, compliance, processes).
• Provide guidance to Internal Audit staff in planning and executing audits.
• Develop strategic risk assessment and audit planning processes.
• Document and present audit results clearly to management and board committees.
• Prepare internal audit reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
• Collaborate with departments to develop and improve policies and procedures.
• Travel to multiple locations (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island) and off-site sites.
