Job summary

The St. Louis Economic Development Partnership seeks a Director of Innovation and Entrepreneurship to lead a regionally focused strategy and guide the STL Venture Works incubators.

You will develop programs, forge partnerships with universities, accelerators, funders and corporate partners, and set measurable benchmarks for startup growth and regional impact. This senior, full-time role requires eight+ years in economic development and a proven ability to lead cross-sector collaborations in St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, entrepreneurship, or related field.
• Eight+ years of economic development or related experience.
• Ability to build public/private partnerships in the St. Louis region.
• Strong written and verbal communication and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a region-wide innovation and entrepreneurship strategy.
• Oversee the lifecycle of incubator programs and client growth.
• Develop partnerships with universities, accelerators, funders, and industry.
• Monitor metrics and report on ecosystem impact.
