Job summary

SSM Health in Missouri is seeking an experienced leader to provide governance and strategic vision for enterprise security initiatives. This role enables business objectives while ensuring alignment with corporate security policies and risk controls.

You will lead cross-functional teams, define security metrics, and help drive incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning across a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• Ten years' experience, with six in information security.

Responsibilities

• Creates a vision and implements a strategic risk management program that scales to effectively secure the business without slowing company innovation and execution.
• Frequently interacts with business units to understand their plans, risk posture and tolerance, and how information security can securely enable them to execute their vision and business obligations.
• Ensures compliance with healthcare laws and regulations as well as organization policies.
• Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics that align with business initiatives and delivers them to non-technical individuals in an effective, understandable manner.
• Leverages technology to create highly effective information security programs.
• Plays a key role in incident response, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
