Qualifications

• California Teaching Credential with Special Education/Educational Specialist Clear (Level II) or Administrative Services Credential.
• Minimum five years of urban teaching, school psychology, or administrator experience with demonstrated gains with students with disabilities.
• Minimum of three years of management experience; preferably over multiple sites.
• Ability to lead professional development activities for Special Education staff and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work with data analysis and improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead equitable and inclusive practices for diverse learners across KIPP SoCal.
• Develop talent pipelines and coach Associate Directors toward academic growth and compliance goals.
• Ensure regional compliance with Special Education requirements and monitor implementation.
• Foster cross-department collaboration to drive organizational excellence.
• Oversee IEP services and alignment with core instruction and SELPA guidelines.
