Santa Margarita Water District (SMWD) is seeking a strategic and people-focused Director of Human Resources to join its executive team as the District capitalizes on a period of meaningful organizational growth. This is a rare opportunity to serve as a true partner to the General Manager and lead a modern, high-performing HR function in support of SMWD’s mission. The new Director will oversee a dedicated team delivering the full suite of human resource servicesand risk management program, while collaborating at the executive level to refine systems and shape organizational culture.

SALARY & BENEFITS: This position will receive an annual salary of $201,489 – 276,040DOE/DOQ, PLUS an attractive benefits package.
