Job summary
Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG) seeks a Director of Health Services to oversee daily clinical operations in our Assisted Living community, ensuring high‑quality, resident‑centered care while leading a skilled nursing team.
You will conduct resident assessments, manage medications, develop care plans, and coordinate with families, physicians, and providers to maintain regulatory compliance, quality care, and positive outcomes.
Qualifications
- Texas LVN/LPN or RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 2 years geriatric nursing.
- Minimum 2 years of nursing leadership/healthcare management.
- Senior living, memory care, or long-term care experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and medication management skills.
Responsibilities

We’re looking for a compassionate and operationally strong Director of Health Services to oversee nursing and wellness services within our Assisted Living community - ensuring residents receive exceptional care while leading and developing a high-performing clinical team.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on nursing leader who thrives in senior living, values resident relationships, and can balance clinical excellence with team leadership and operational accountability.
As the Director of Health Services, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of the community, including resident assessments, medication management, care planning, staffing, compliance, and team development.
You’ll partner closely with community leadership, residents, families, physicians, and outside healthcare providers to ensure residents receive high-quality, dignified care in a safe and supportive environment.
This role plays a critical leadership function within the community and directly impacts resident wellness, family satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and overall care quality.
- Lead and oversee all nursing and supportive care services within the Assisted Living community
- Ensure residents receive compassionate, resident-centered care that promotes dignity, safety, and overall wellness
- Conduct and oversee resident assessments, service plans, and ongoing wellness monitoring
- Monitor resident condition changes and ensure appropriate interventions, communication, and documentation
- Oversee medication management processes, physician orders, treatments, and clinical documentation
- Recruit, train, coach, supervise, and develop nursing and care staff
- Build staffing schedules and maintain appropriate clinical coverage to meet resident and regulatory needs
- Coordinate resident care conferences with families, physicians, and healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations, OSHA standards, company policies, and clinical best practices
- Develop systems and processes that support quality care, operational efficiency, and positive resident outcomes
- Manage clinical supplies, healthcare inventory, and departmental purchasing within budget guidelines
- Support move-ins, resident transitions, and family communication throughout the resident journey
- Residents receive high-quality care in a safe, supportive, and respectful environment
- Clinical documentation, medication management, and compliance standards are consistently maintained
- Nursing and care teams are properly staffed, trained, and engaged
- Families feel informed, supported, and confident in the care being provided
- Resident care concerns are addressed proactively and professionally
- The community maintains strong survey readiness and operational compliance
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Texas license in good standing REQUIRED
- Minimum of 2 years of geriatric nursing experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing leadership, supervisory, or healthcare management experience required
- Senior living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, or long-term care experience strongly preferred
- Experience leading and developing direct care staff in a healthcare environment
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and medication management experience
- Strong systems, staffing, and process management skills
- Comfortable utilizing technology systems daily to manage resident care, medications, and clinical tracking
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, leadership, and team members
- You lead with empathy, accountability, and professionalism
- You stay calm and solution-focused in fast-paced situations
- You build trust quickly with residents, families, and staff
- You combine strong clinical judgment with operational organization
- You are passionate about serving seniors and developing strong care teams
