Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a senior global sourcing leader to drive strategy, manage supplier relationships, and lead a 18-25 person team. You will steer cost-out initiatives, risk mitigation, and P2P process enhancements while aligning with S&OP goals.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in global sourcing, strong negotiation and ERP proficiency, and a proven track record of process improvements. Domestic/international travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or similar field.
• 10+ years in global sourcing or procurement; 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, procurement, negotiation, and contract management.
• Proven ability to achieve cost savings and improve processes through sourcing.
• Skilled in building strategic relationships with global suppliers.
• Data-driven decision making and familiarity with BOMs, manufacturing processes.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
• Excellent written and presentation skills with data-driven persuasion.

This role involves developing and implementing a global sourcing strategy, managing supplier relationships, and mitigating supply chain risks. You'll lead, recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing global team of 18-25 supply chain professionals to support product development, ensure efficient procurement, and continuously improve processes. You will communicate and drive the strategic plan, goals, objectives, and KPIs across the team, ensuring alignment and understanding. Regularly reviewing and assessing performance metrics, you will take proactive measures to achieve department and organizational goals.

• Willing to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) to meet suppliers and attend events. - Experience buying and managing commodities
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to persuade using data.
