In this highly visible and impactful role, you’ll lead with purpose, optimizing operational excellence, enhancing cost efficiencies, and building a resilient supply chain that exceeds customer expectations.

As a key member of our leadership team, you'll collaborate across functions, lead transformative initiatives, and cultivate a world-class sourcing organization that supports innovation, growth, and continuous improvement.

Your Mission

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a forward-looking Global Sourcing Strategy aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
  • Champion integration of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) with sourcing and New Product Introduction (NPI) to achieve operational excellence and strategic alignment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the department's global efficiency, responsiveness, and cost-effectiveness.

Global Sourcing & Supply Chain Excellence:

  • Lead global strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and onboard high-quality suppliers while optimizing costs and minimizing supply chain risks.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure sourcing strategies align with business needs.
  • Develop robust risk management processes to anticipate, assess, and mitigate potential disruptions across the supply chain.

Innovation in Component Engineering & NPI Support:

  • Lead global Component Engineering and NPI functions, fostering collaboration between design and sourcing teams to meet cost, quality, and launch targets.
  • Implement lifecycle management processes to maximize part standardization, reuse, and alignment with supplier capabilities.
  • Ensure seamless integration between product development and sourcing to accelerate time-to-market.

Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Build strategic partnerships with global suppliers, driving innovation, cost savings, and continuous improvement in quality and delivery.
  • Lead value analysis and value engineering (VA/VE) initiatives with suppliers to unlock efficiencies and ensure supply security.
  • Collaborate on initiatives that drive competitive pricing and enhance overall supplier performance.

Operational Efficiency in Procurement:

  • Oversee purchasing operations to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.
  • Partner with Finance, Supplier Quality, and other stakeholders to streamline procure-to-pay processes, driving operational excellence.
  • Leverage technology, such as ERP and e-sourcing platforms, to enhance procurement efficiency and reporting.

Performance & Talent Development:

  • Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure sourcing and supplier performance.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of global sourcing professionals (18-25 team members), fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
  • Drive succession planning, cross-training, and mentorship to build organizational capability and ensure long-term success.
What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in global sourcing, strategic procurement, or supply chain management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in building and managing global supply chains, driving cost reductions, and enhancing operational efficiency.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with a proven ability to inspire and lead a diverse, global team.
  • Expertise in strategic sourcing methodologies, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data, derive actionable insights, and make strategic decisions.
  • Experience supporting NPI procurement and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPM, CSCP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25%) to engage with suppliers and stakeholders.
