Job summary

Harris & Co Executive Search in Wisconsin is partnering with a leading food manufacturer to hire a Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) to shape and oversee the function at scale.

This senior role leads across all sites, owns USDA-FSIS compliance, HACCP plans and regulatory relationships, and drives Listeria control, environmental monitoring, and SQF/BRCGS certifications while building a high-performing QA team to support growth.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in food safety and quality, with 3+ years in a leadership role.
• USDA-regulated manufacturing experience required.
• Proven Listeria control, environmental monitoring and sanitation experience.
• Hands-on SQF or BRCGS and HACCP expertise.
• Multi-site leadership experience preferred.

We are partnered with a leading food manufacturer who have opened a search for a Director of FSQA to join their team.

This is a senior, highly visible role leading food safety and quality across the business, with the scope to shape the function as the company grows. With strong investments in place, this is a role which requires a strong leader who has worked at this level previously.

The role:

• Lead food safety and quality across all manufacturing sites, reporting to senior leadership
