Choose Chicago seeks a Director of Finance at its Corporate Headquarters in Chicago, IL. This senior leadership role partners with the CFO to lead financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting while serving as a deputy in internal and external presentations to the board.

The ideal candidate drives process improvements, modernizes finance operations with AI-enabled tools, and ensures compliance across all financial functions in a fast-paced non‑profit environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA a plus.
• 7+ years of progressive management experience in finance and accounting, ideally including experience as a deputy to a senior finance executive.
• Proficiency with financial software systems, including Sage Intacct; Bill.com preferred.
• Proficient in using workplace AI technologies and automation tools to improve efficiency while maintaining data privacy.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the CFO's key partner and backup in meetings, presentations, and reports when the CFO is unavailable.
• Monitor and enforce financial policies; protect assets with internal controls.
• Provide status of financial condition by interpreting and reporting key data with the CFO.
• Identify and implement new tools and AI-enabled software to track and safeguard funds.
