Job description

The Wellness Group (TWG) is a diversified healthcare holding company committed to transforming how care is delivered, managed, and experienced. Across our portfolio of companies, we build and scale innovative healthcare businesses, from care management and pharmacy services to wellness technology. We hire people who are mission driven, operationally sharp, and ready to do meaningful work.

About ScriptfulRx

ScriptfulRx is the pharmacy services company within the TWG portfolio, built to make getting the right medication simple, fast, and reliable for patients and the providers who care for them. Operating from West Palm Beach, we work alongside prescribers, patients, and payers to move prescriptions from order to doorstep without the friction people have come to expect from pharmacy. As prescription volume and payer relationships grow, ScriptfulRx needs finance leadership on the ground that understands the economics of every script we fill.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Director of Finance to own financial planning, analysis, and reporting for ScriptfulRx. You will build the models, forecasts, and dashboards that guide decisions on payer mix, drug acquisition cost, inventory, reimbursement, and margin per prescription. You will partner closely with pharmacy operations and TWG leadership to turn claims activity, reimbursement data, and fulfillment costs into a clear financial story for the CFO and the executive team. This role also carries a mandate to modernize how pharmacy finance works, putting AI directly into the everyday tools of forecasting, reconciliation, and reporting.

Pharmacy margins are won or lost one claim at a time. This role puts you in charge of winning them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial planning and analysis for ScriptfulRx, including monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long range planning.
  • Own the ScriptfulRx financial reporting package delivered to the CFO, the TWG executive team, and the board, and support consolidation into TWG group reporting.
  • Analyze gross margin by prescription, drug category, and payer, tracking drug acquisition cost, PBM reimbursement, dispensing fees, and pharmacy fee impacts.
  • Oversee claims reconciliation and third party receivables, ensuring PBM and payer remittances are matched, underpayments are identified, and cash is collected on time.
  • Partner with pharmacy operations on inventory valuation, wholesaler terms, rebates, and shrink, including financial support for controlled substance inventory accountability.
  • Build financial models supporting new payer contracts, service lines, and growth initiatives, including contract profitability and break even analysis.
  • Drive adoption of AI powered tools and workflows across FP&A, using them to accelerate forecasting cycles, automate claims and variance analysis, and surface insights faster than traditional methods allow.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and cost allocations between ScriptfulRx and its sister TWG companies, keeping every transaction documented, consistent, and audit ready.
  • Monitor cash flow and working capital in a model where drug purchasing runs ahead of payer reimbursement.
  • Support external audit, banking, and lender reporting, along with the financial elements of pharmacy licensure and payer credentialing.
  • Build and develop a lean finance team as ScriptfulRx scales, setting a high bar for rigor and initiative.
  • Serve as a thought partner to the CFO on pricing, capital allocation, and growth strategy.
What You Bring
  • 7 or more years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role with FP&A or corporate finance scope.
  • Experience in pharmacy finance (retail, specialty, mail order, or compounding), PBM operations, or healthcare services is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of pharmacy reimbursement, including PBM contracts, payer reconciliation, and drug pricing benchmarks such as AWP, WAC, and NADAC.
  • Demonstrated fluency in US GAAP, including revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and intercompany consolidation.
  • Strong, hands on skills using AI tools for finance applications, such as AI assisted forecasting, automated reconciliation and reporting, or natural language query of financial data, required.
  • Advanced financial modeling ability and command of Excel; experience with ERP platforms such as NetSuite and familiarity with pharmacy management systems.
  • A disciplined approach to data privacy, with experience handling claims and reimbursement data that contains protected health information.
  • A track record of translating complex financial data into clear recommendations for non finance executives and board members.
  • A builder’s mindset, comfortable creating structure and process where none exists yet.
You Might Be a Great Fit If...
  • You have worked inside a pharmacy, PBM, or healthcare services business and know that reimbursement, not revenue, tells the real story.
  • You are excited by the idea of rebuilding finance workflows around AI rather than defending the status quo.
  • You want your analysis to directly influence payer, pricing, and capital decisions, not just document what already happened.
  • You thrive with real ownership and want to build the playbook, not just follow one.

The Wellness Group offers a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional details will be shared during the interview process.

  • Competitive base salary (see pay band research for market context)
  • Comprehensive health and dental benefits
  • PTO
  • Onsite role based in our West Palm Beach, FL office
  • Moving stipend may be available for candidates relocating to South Florida
  • A mission driven environment making medication access simpler for patients and the providers who serve them
