Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center seeks an experienced, hands-on Director of Environmental Services and Maintenance to oversee cleanliness, safety, and upkeep of the facility in a patient-centered environment.

The role leads environmental services and maintenance operations, ensuring a clean, comfortable setting for residents, visitors, and staff while coordinating preventive maintenance and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising environmental services, housekeeping, maintenance, or facilities operations.
• Experience in a healthcare, rehabilitation, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning, sanitation, preventive maintenance, and workplace safety practices.
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and respond to facility needs.
