High Companies, located in Lancaster County, is seeking a Director of Enterprise AI to lead its AI program, executing a vision that enhances productivity and innovation. This key role involves working with leaders across departments to define an effective AI strategy and ensure safe scaling of AI solutions.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field and has over a decade of business experience, particularly with leadership in digital transformation and AI application.
The Director of Enterprise AI is responsible for leading High’s enterprise AI program, defining and executing an Executive Committee-approved AI vision through an enterprise AI strategy, roadmap, governance, and operating models. This role serves as the connector across operating entities and shared services, partnering with business leaders, IT, data, legal, cyber security, and external vendors to identify, prioritize, and deliver AI initiatives that improve productivity, quality, customer outcomes, risk controls, and financial performance. The Director establishes Responsible AI guardrails—policies, approval workflows, risk management practices, and controls—that enable safe scaling of AI solutions while supporting innovation.
Not the primary builder of AI solutions or a centralized “AI factory”.
Not replacing business ownership of processes and outcomes.
Not making unilateral decisions; decisions are made through agreed governance and executive sponsorship.
