Job summary

Zone & Co is seeking an accomplished Director of Engineering to lead and scale our engineering teams across the Americas, overseeing Platform Services, AI, Quote-to-Cash and ZoneProcure. This senior leader will collaborate with regional counterparts to deliver innovative solutions for global clients, driving AI strategy and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles and leading remote-first teams across time zones.
Strong understanding of modern software development practices including agentic SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, DevEx.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale engineering teams across the Americas and EMEA, aligning technical vision with business goals.
Oversee design, development, and deployment of Zone's Platform and AI services (Zoe) across product lines.
Drive engineering excellence through code reviews, architecture reviews, and mentorship.
Collaborate with Product, Professional Services, and Customer Success to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
Champion modern engineering practices including AI-powered development tools, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing.
