Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a senior engineering leader to provide strategic and technical leadership across engineering teams to ensure delivery excellence, scalability, and alignment with enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant engineering leadership experience.
• Proven success leading engineering teams in a matrixed environment.
• Experience aligning technical strategy and delivery with organizational goals.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
• Background in infrastructure, platform engineering, or shared services preferred.
• Experience designing and deploying large-scale data applications preferred.
• Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree preferred.
• 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
• Demonstrated success leading engineering teams within a matrixed environment required.
• Experience aligning technical strategy and delivery with organizational goals required.
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery practices and software development lifecycle methodologies required.
• Experience establishing engineering standards, governance, and best practices required.
• Background supporting infrastructure, platform engineering, or shared services teams preferred.
• Experience designing and deploying large‑scale data applications preferred.
• Experience working within regulated industries such as healthcare preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
