The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget (Committee) is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization devoted to educating policymakers, the media and citizens about the fiscal challenges facing the country, as well as the possible solutions. The Committee is made up of some of the nation's leading budget experts including many of the past Chairmen and Directors of the Budget Committees, the Congressional Budget Office, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Government Accountability Office.
The Committee is seeking a driven and proactive Director of Engagement and Coalitions. This role will be responsible for building, managing, and engaging the Committee's diverse stakeholder communities in Washington and across the country. The position will also support the Committee's public engagement campaigns and work to build strategic partnerships with external organizations and groups.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills-both written and verbal and have a proven track record in issue advocacy, particularly in engaging and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. The Engagement and Coalitions Director will work with the Committee's policy and legislative teams and report to the Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff.
Salary: $125,000 to $160,000 with generous benefits package including health, dental, life and long-term disability insurance; 403(b) contribution; and paid time off.
