Job summary

The Downtown Denver Partnership seeks a Director of Beautification & Public Realm Care to elevate downtown aesthetics and livability. You will lead public realm operations, contract management, and field teams to deliver a safe, welcoming, and vibrant core for workers, residents, businesses, and visitors.

This executive role requires strategic planning, budget stewardship, and strong collaboration with city agencies and property owners.

Qualifications

• Experience leading urban public realm or downtown management teams.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contracts, and performance metrics.
• Strong external-facing relationship skills with government, nonprofits, and community groups.

Responsibilities

• Strategic implementation of streetscape, mobility and placemaking priorities.
• Oversee operations, contracts, and field teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
• Monitor KPIs for cleanliness, activation, and public realm quality.
• Coordinate with city agencies, property owners and districts to align initiatives.
