Job summary

Trinity Grove is seeking an experienced Director of Dining Services to lead daily dining operations and to ensure high-quality resident meals while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role focuses on staffing, menu planning, training, and supervision of dining staff, with emphasis on safety, quality, and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• DMA certification required or willingness to obtain certification.
• One year of healthcare food service experience preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of local health regulations and food prep laws.
• Ability to safely use a variety of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nutrition services, dining operations, approved diets, and menu planning.
• Ensure proper staffing and maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Recruit, train, coach, supervise, and evaluate dining services staff.
• Maintain employee records and coordinate in-service education for the dining services team.
• Monitor dining equipment and identify repair or replacement needs.
• Regularly evaluate dining services and make improvements that support resident satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe environment and perform other duties to support facility operations.
