Chartwells K-12 in Weston, CT is seeking a Director of Dining Services to lead the district’s dining program with chef‑driven menus, nutrition standards, and strong operational leadership.

As the culinary and operational leader, you’ll oversee budgeting, maintain client relationships, and work with a team to deliver nutritious, top‑quality meals while implementing new culinary programs and coordinating with Chartwells, the client, and the community.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Culinary, Food Services Technology/Management/Hospitality preferred or equivalent experience.
• Three plus years of foodservice management experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all finance and budgeting as it pertains to the account.
• Maintains excellent relationships with the client.
• Works with the team in creating nutritious and top-quality food for the students.
• Implements new culinary programs in conjunction with the culinary teams.
• Acts as a liaison between Chartwells, Client, and the community.

• Dining experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial and strong intuition for business.
• Excellent communication skills.
