Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Technical Director to lead DfMA and Construction Innovation across major complex building programs. You will champion kit-of-parts methodologies, product-based design, and modular systems to enable repeatable delivery and scale across geographies.

The role requires extensive leadership of multidisciplinary teams, experience in data centers, aviation, rail, and nuclear sectors, and a passion for digital design, BIM workflows, and manufacturing-led delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, engineering or related discipline.
12+ years of experience in architectural or related disciplines.
Experience delivering data centers, aviation, rail, industrial, or nuclear facilities.
Proven experience implementing DfMA on large, complex, or programmatic projects.
Experience developing modular design systems and kit-of-parts solutions.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and technical leadership for multi-disciplinary KoP design and delivery across large-scale, complex programs.
Lead the adoption of product-driven design strategies that improve consistency, efficiency, quality, and outcomes.
Define modular architectural systems suitable for deployment across multiple projects and geographies.
Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, digital delivery, and construction teams to optimize product-based solutions.
