Job summary

The University of Oklahoma Foundation is seeking a Director of Development for the Gallogly College of Engineering on the Norman campus. This full-time professional role will manage a portfolio of major gift donors ($25,000+) to raise funds for the college, working with OU Foundation colleagues and university leadership to meet ambitious fundraising goals.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 4-8 years in fundraising or related roles; a Master’s degree or CFRE is preferred.

The Director of Development reports to the Senior Director of the Gallogly College of Engineering and will manage a portfolio of major gift donors ($25,000+) to raise funds for the college. This professional works closely with fellow OU Foundation colleagues as well as faculty, staff and administrative leadership on the OU Norman campus to develop and implement fundraising strategy to meet individual and team fundraising goals.

As a skilled individual contributor, the Director of Development carries an expected annual fundraising goal of $3 million ($15 million over a rolling five-year period), requires regular regional travel and brings a demonstrated record of advancing complex, impact-based philanthropic initiatives.

Bachelor's degree and 4-8 progressive experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift planning-related roles required. Master's degree or CFRE preferred.

Please note that this is an on-site role in Norman, Oklahoma.
