Job summary

HD Supply seeks a Director of Decision Analytics to define and execute the business unit's intelligence and network strategy. You will oversee BI systems, models, and optimization techniques, collaborating with senior leaders to drive data reporting and actionable insights across customer, product, and financial data.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with distribution network optimization.
• 5 years of experience in a management/supervisory capacity involving decision analytics.
• 5 years of experience operations research and optimization modeling experience.
• Experience working with advanced data analytics tools and databases related to financial data, P&L statements and sales forecasts.
• Experience aggregating large volumes of operational, financial and customer data for analysis.
• Experience partnering with cross functional leaders.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute business intelligence and network strategy.
• Oversee the implementation and administration of business intelligence systems, tools, and optimization techniques.
• Work closely with senior business leaders and their respective field and functional units to identify and implement advanced data reporting capabilities and mechanisms.
• Leverage available data sources to identify key business improvement opportunities.
• Develop and manage the unit and project specific budgets.
• Maintain responsibility for the business unit data quality management initiatives.
• Lead direct reports and/or cross-functional teams that include both functional and technical resources.
