The University of Tennessee Foundation, Inc. invites applications for the role of Executive Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

The role leads a team transforming advancement data into insights that inform strategy, performance, and philanthropic growth. Reporting to the Chief Advancement Information Officer, the position shapes data governance, BI strategy, dashboards, and analytics capabilities across UTK.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Eight+ years in BI/analytics or enterprise data strategy within large complex organizations.
• Two years of supervisory experience including volunteers, interns and students.
• Proven success leading BI development, data modeling, warehousing, and analytics enablement.
• Ability to translate complex data into strategic recommendations for executives.
• Expertise with BI platforms such as Microsoft SQL Server Suite, Power BI, Tableau or similar.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership and Data Governance: align analytics with fundraising goals and enforce data standards.
• Team and Operational Leadership: guide the UTK Advancement BI team and mentor staff.
• Analytics Innovation and Executive Collaboration: develop dashboards, models, and tools for donor insights and campaign planning.
