Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Director of Data Engineering to lead the development, implementation, support, and modernization of the enterprise analytic data environment.

This executive will oversee data warehouses, data lakes, data quality, metadata management, data products, ETL, and AI data fabric—driving a cohesive data and analytics strategy across AI/Advanced Analytics, BI, Platforms, and research teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7+ years of work experience in a related job discipline

Responsibilities

• Delegate responsibilities to reporting personnel, establish clear lines of responsibility and accountability.
• Leads the selection, development, mentoring and coaching of direct and indirect reports.
• Operationalize, implement and monitor assigned initiatives.
• Develop and deliver effective communications and training to users.
• Provide oversight for relevant vendor relationships, RFPs and vendor selections.
