Job summary

A technology company is seeking a Data Architect to assess and design data models, optimize ETL pipelines, and implement data governance in cloud-based environments. Ideal candidates will have over 7 years of experience in data architecture, strong SQL skills, and hands-on experience with tools like Azure and Snowflake. This contract position requires collaboration with technical teams and stakeholders in a dynamic environment. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Florida state systems and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Data Architect or Senior Data Analyst.
• 10+ years working with enterprise databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.).
• Strong experience with data modelling, ETL, data warehousing, and governance.
• Hands-on experience with Azure, Snowflake, Informatica, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Assess current-state data models, schemas, and integrations.
• Design enterprise canonical data models and standardized schemas.
• Build and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines and API-driven integrations.
• Integrate spatial/GIS and engineering datasets.
