Amedisys, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Director of Clinical Operations to lead clinical services, ensure compliance with applicable laws and accreditation standards, and guide high-quality, patient-centered care across the care center.

You will supervise clinical leadership teams, drive performance improvement, monitor KPIs, and foster a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in our home health/hospice setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Current RN license valid in the assigned state.
• Current CPR certification.
• 2+ years RN experience in home health or hospice.
• 3+ years clinical leadership/management in healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Ensure a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care is maintained and communicates patient needs.
• Direct the activities of the clinical manager and intake coordinator in care provision.
• Maintain appropriate clinician staffing levels.
• Ensure clinician productivity standards are met.
• Oversee weekly patient care conference and ensure staff participation.
• Ensure patient care conference policies and protocols are followed.
• Implement care center professional, clinical service and performance improvement programs.
• Promote standards for quality patient care by all staff.
• May function as agency administrator.
• Ensure clinician orientation and trainings occur per company standards.
• Collaborate with area VP of clinical operations on standards and processes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The Director of Clinical Operations is a senior clinical leader responsible for directing clinical services and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and company policies governing patient care. This role oversees clinical leadership teams, drives performance improvement initiatives, and ensures delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. The position is accountable for monitoring and managing clinical performance, quality outcomes, and key performance indicators while fostering a culture of excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across the care center.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care is maintained that assesses and identifies all patient needs and communicates those needs
• Oversees and directs the activities of the clinical manager and intake coordinator in the provision and coordination of patient care
• Implements/maintains appropriate clinician staffing levels
• Ensures clinician productivity standards are met
• Oversees the weekly patient care conference and assures participation of all clinical staff
• Ensures patient care conference policy and protocols are followed
• Responsible for the implementation of the care centers professional and clinical service and performance improvement programs
• Promotes and maintains standards for providing quality patient care by all staff of the care center
• May function as agency administrator
• Ensures clinical manager, clinician orientation and trainings occur per company standards
• Collaborates with area vice president of clinical operations in implementation of clinical operations, standards and processes
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing
• Current license to practice as an RN specific to the state assigned to work in
• Current CPR certification
• 2+ years of RN experience in a home health or hospice environment
• 3+ years of clinical leadership/management experience in healthcare, home health or hospice

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $95,424 to $128,136 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
