Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years of post-licensure clinical practice (minimum)
• Experience in teaching, curriculum development, or administration in physical therapy education (minimum)
• Evidence of professional or community service activities/engagement

Responsibilities

• Planning, administering and evaluating clinical education activities for the DPT program in coordination with faculty.
• Assigning students to clinical internship sites considering learning styles and site opportunities.
• Monitoring student progress and assessing performance in clinical experiences.
• Liaison between UTRGV and affiliated clinical education sites.
• Provide feedback to sites on effectiveness of clinical learning.
• Ensure adequate number of sites meeting CAPTE criteria and diversity needs.
• Collaborate on faculty development and clinical education planning.
• Be available to travel regularly and perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Physical Therapy degree (BS, MS, or DPT)

Active Texas Physical Therapy license or eligibility
