Job summary

Menadier Engineering LLC in Alachua, FL is seeking a hands-on Professional Engineer (PE) to lead projects from concept to completion, mentor staff, and strengthen our project management and engineering team. This is a key role for someone who wants to make a real impact and help scale the firm.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida PE, a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, and a track record of delivering site development projects, coordinating schedules, and improving workflows.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven civil engineering experience (land development/site design preferred).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy.
• Strong communication and leadership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff through final deliverables.
• Oversee site civil design, plans, calculations, and tech docs.
• Coordinate schedules, milestones, and workloads.
• Mentor staff and project managers.
• Support planning, scope development, and client communication.
• Improve workflows and production efficiency.
• Assist with permitting coordination and agency responses.
• Maintain project documentation and communication.

Menadier Engineering LLC is growing, and we’re looking for a high-performing Professional Engineer (PE) to lead projects from start to finish while strengthening our internal project management and engineering team. What You’ll Do (Production + Leadership)

• Lead projects from kickoff through final deliverables
• Produce and/or oversee site civil design, plan sets, calculations, and technical documentation
• Coordinate schedules, milestones, and internal workload planning
• Ensure quality control and consistency across all deliverables
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical oversight to staff and project managers
• Support project planning, scope development, and client communication
• Collaborate with leadership to improve workflows, production standards, and efficiency
• Assist with permitting coordination and agency responses as needed
• Maintain strong project organization, documentation, and communication

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) – State of Florida
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proven experience in civil engineering (land development/site design preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to take projects from concept through completion
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency
• Strong communication skills and professional judgment
• Leadership mindset with the ability to guide and mentor others
