Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in environmental health or closely related field.
• Three years of experience supervising environmental health workers in a city-wide program.
• Two years of experience administering a city-wide environmental health program as an Environmental Health Program Administrator.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate tobacco control, institutional health, food protection, vector control, lead poisoning prevention, and occupational and radiological health programs.
• Oversee inspectional, investigatory, and educational activities to control environmental health hazards.
• Secure cooperation of the business and industrial community and the general public to support environmental health initiatives.
• Enforce regulations, statutes, and ordinances related to environmental health.
