Job summary

Front Range Community College (FRCC) seeks a Director of Capital Projects and Planning to lead long-range facilities planning, capital investments, and project delivery across its campuses. This role requires collaboration with executive leadership, external consultants, and campus partners to ensure alignment with academic priorities and community needs.

Reporting to the AVP of Facilities, the Director will guide multi-year maintenance plans, manage complex budgets, and supervise project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Seven (7) years of progressive experience in capital improvement, renovation, or construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital planning and controlled maintenance projects across FRCC campuses.
• Develop and monitor budgets; align expenditures with strategic priorities.
• Coordinate with AVP Facilities, campus leadership, and external partners.
• Maintain facilities master plans and support safety, accessibility and sustainability goals.
• Serve as primary contact for architectural, engineering, and construction partners.
