Job summary

Northwestern Hillel in Evanston, IL seeks a Doppelt Director of Engagement to lead strategies for Jewish student life across campus, building authentic relationships and creating immersive experiences. You’ll supervise staff and partner with engagement professionals to map the campus and make Jewish life accessible to diverse students.

Requirements include 3-5 years of professional experience and a Bachelor's degree; you should be data-driven, collaborative, and enthusiastic about developing

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional work experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to take risks, iterate, and learn.
• Excellent communication across platforms (text, email, phone, in-person).
• Enthusiasm for building and sustaining relationships with a diverse student body.
• Commitment to using data to inform strategy and measure impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement strategy and data initiatives to reach Jewish students on campus, incl. not-yet-connected students.
• Manage and analyze HEaRT data; produce reports to guide priorities and measure progress.
• Develop outreach strategies for Shabbat and Jewish holidays with thoughtful engagement plans.
