The Director of Business Development oversees the provision of Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service activities within the Marketing Department and is responsible for achieving the desired utilization of the organization’s continuum of care through the effective application of marketing principles and methods. As a member of the facility management team, the Director is actively involved in discussions related to a wide variety of facility issues including, but not limited to, strategic planning, potential growth opportunities, future projects, changes in programming/protocols, recruitment and retention. The Director is responsible for the facility’s strategic marketing plan, enhancing the facility’s brand/image, managing all sales and business development activities, and maintaining an active and productive working relationship with internal departments, communicating issues or potential problems proactively, especially with the CEO and Director of Admissions/Intake. Work hours are based on departmental and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the CEO.
Cedar Ridge Behavioral Hospital (a UHS facility) provides inpatient and residential treatment services for youth ages 5-17, as well as inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services for adults ages 18+. Our treatment programs provide a structured and supportive treatment environment that promotes self-acceptance and helps stabilize patients suffering from acute psychiatric illness. Our multidisciplinary treatment teams consist of psychiatrists, licensed therapists and highly specialized nurses who collaborate to develop and implement effective and compassionate treatment plans for our patients.
