Job summary

The Beck Group, headquartered in Dallas, seeks seasoned sales and business development professionals to drive regional growth and national marketing objectives. You will manage client relationships, lead proposals, and collaborate across offices to secure opportunities and optimize pursuit strategies.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, travel may be required, and you will engage in industry events, client interviews, and cross-functional planning to achieve

• May require travel or co/location.
• Ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals for a specific market/region.
• Make commitments for firm with direction from superiors.
• Track BD opportunities and trusted advisors via CRM.
• Research and gather information on potential clients and projects.
• Schedule meetings with new/existing clients to discover project information.
• Maintain strong business network.
• Attend industry and client events.
• Assist in development of regional marketing plans.
• Support and lead national marketing objectives.
• Participate in Beck hosted client events.
• Assist in the development of proposals, scopes of work, and estimate fees.
• Contribute meaningful insight and information to pursuit strategy sessions and assist in the development of proposals, scopes of work, estimate fees, and interviews.
• Attend pre-bids and client interviews.
• Participate in internal and lead external debriefs.
• Develop and submit pursuit plans for go/no-go approval.
• Assist in analysis and follow-up of client score card results.
• Coordinate 11-month walk-throughs.

The job involves the following essential functions:

Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience required Physical Demands: Frequently required to sit, stand, and move about the office; frequently moving outdoors may be required; ability to lift and carry large plans or boxes in excess of 10 lbs; frequently operates a computer and other office equipment; ability to coordinate and participate in client meetings; constantly communicates with project team and related parties; ability to maintain standards related to architectural design and production; ability to adhere to timely and consistent attendance. May require travel or co/location.
