Job summary

Hilton in Washington, DC area seeks a Director of Banquets to lead banquet operations, ensure exceptional guest service, and manage food & beverage quality and cost controls. You will drive standards, analyze service trends, and develop a high-performing team within regulatory guidelines.

• Lead administration of banquet functions: Direct all banquet operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, food and beverage quality, new account acquisition, inventory management, cost controls, and systems management

• Drive service standards enhancements: Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of departmental service guidelines and standards

• Analyze service trends and satisfaction: Continuously monitor service trends and guest satisfaction, proactively identifying issues and implementing strategies for improvement

• Cultivate a high-performing team: Drive engagement and retention through performance management, professional development, and recognition programs

• Uphold regulatory compliance: Ensure adherence to health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for guests and team members
