Job summary

Hazel Crest School District 152 is seeking a qualified administrator to manage and coordinate the district's athletic activities and sports programs, promoting athletics as positive extracurricular opportunities for all students and ensuring equal participation.

You will supervise coaches and staff, organize interscholastic contests, coordinate transportation, schedule events, manage the athletic budget, and ensure eligibility and compliance with district policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Experience managing or directing athletic programs in a school district preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to relate to all people in a positive manner.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer the district-wide athletic program.
• Provide leadership in selection, assignment, and evaluation of coaches and staff.
• Supervise athletic events, including travel for state tournaments.
• Plan and schedule interscholastic competitions and practice sessions.
• Coordinate transportation and meal arrangements for teams as needed.
• Manage the athletic program budget and requisition supplies.
