**PRIMARY FUNCTION/GENERAL PURPOSE OF POSITION**Nordic Consulting Partners, Inc., headquartered in Madison, WI, has an opening available for a Director of Analytics and Reporting. Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm. Company headquartered in Madison, Wisconsin. Residence and remote work permitted from anywhere within the U.S.Duties: The Director of Analytics and Reporting acts as the strategic thought leader for analytics and reporting practice areas providing recommendations while keeping capacity management at the forefront.**Key Responsibilities*** Analyze objectives, attend planning activities, and identify emerging needs for information, such as new functions being automated or that require information processing support;* Respond effectively with analytics and reporting designs to the changes in tool strategies and information industry technology improvements;* Provide rationale for action, including return on investment and define implications for information systems;* Coordinate reporting and analytics design for large-scale complex projects, monitor methods of systems selection for appropriate information technology, and promote activities to foster standardization within the enterprise;* Stay abreast of leading-edge technologies in the industry, evaluating emerging software technologies, and positioning their use in the enterprise;* Monitor and analyze analytics and reporting initiatives to determine potential inadequacies or potential conflicts with systems architecture, such as capacity restrictions affecting information flow, data compatibility, or cost duplication;* Develop a leadership team that builds an empowered, unified and agile culture that strives for excellence;* Develop and sustain partner relationships by promoting an end-user experience-driven culture through the development of organization structure, processes, and programs to enable a high degree of responsiveness and alignment with strategic priorities;* Plan, coordinate, and occasionally act as lead project manager of cross-functional matrix teams on a broad variety of initiatives related to analytics and reporting;* Keep subordinates informed at all times of changes to projects, priorities, and daily support activities to ensure departmental staff is well-informed;* Use change management policies and procedures, manage the change management process for analytics and reporting and data transformation processes;* Architect a solution using appropriate portfolio offerings with design elements that allow integration into the client environment; and* Provide data transformation services to support integrated workflows.**Skills and Experience**Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related quantitative field (foreign equivalent degree accepted). In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, will accept education equivalency in the required fields of study that is based on a single foreign degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas or work experience determined to be equivalent by a qualified evaluation source.10 years of experience in each of the following:* As a Data Analyst, Software Engineer, or closely related in an IT managed services organization including 2 years in a leadership and/or solution architecture capacity; and* In Global IT Managed Services, including Service Desk and Application Management delivery.Also requires 8 years of experience in each of the following:* Implementing managed services solutions platforms including Genesys, Workday, and ServiceNow with responsibility for defining reporting requirements and performance metrics; and* Identifying and driving the programs to improve the delivery processes.7 years of experience in: Designing operational metrics, dashboards, and reporting frameworks using IT Managed services tools (including Genesys, Workday and ServiceNow), to support operational and business performance.5 years of experience in: Working with stakeholders to align the data strategy with business objectives.Experience may be gained concurrently#LI-DNI**Nordic is an equal opportunity employer.
