Position Summary:

We are seeking a Director of Analytics to provide inspirational leadership and value by applying their extensive knowledge of marketing analytics, measurement, and digital analytics that uncovers rich insights and opportunities to advance customer experience through the power of data.

The ideal candidate has deep skills in database marketing, statistical modeling, dashboarding, CRM & media measurement, GA4/GTM proficiency, experience in test design and analysis, proven aptitude with analytics coding, and importantly a passion for developing high-value business insights from complex data. The Director of Analytics serves as a thought-leader, elevating best practices, supporting growth opportunities and educating stakeholders on evolving industry trends.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Partner with internal stakeholders and clients to design, implement, and execute measurement plans and roadmaps that drive program level performance. Equal ability to lead data science initiatives, marketing measurement and financial analysis.
  2. Work with complex marketing and website data to create and communicate data insight in a clear and concise fashion, with a compelling storyline that addresses client needs and objectives.
  3. Manage, support, mentor, grow and empower colleagues with expertise in marketing analysis, website analytics, personas/ customer segmentation, financial analysis, LTV and attribution modeling.
  4. Blend deep analytical skill with business acumen to understand marketing strategy, objectives and drive analyses that serve the customer first.
  5. Recommend KPIs and enhance measurement capabilities for media, personalization strategies, loyalty, and other marketing efforts.
  6. Define and proactively deliver ongoing data insight to internal stakeholders and senior client partners.
  7. Lead deployment of analytic systems, including website testing, campaign management, Pilot/in-market analysis (A/B and multi-variate tests).
  8. Lead executive-level conversations to recommend and advise the best approach and evaluate results.
Required Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (e.g., data science, business analytics, statistics, mathematics, economics, marketing/business, social science, or related area).
  2. 7+ years’ experience leading people and teams.
  3. 7+ years’ experience in reporting and analytics.
  4. 5+ years in an analytical role within a marketing/advertising employment setting.
  5. Desire and passion to be “in the work”.
  6. Demonstrated aptitude for inferential data analysis.
  7. Experience with database marketing, economic modeling, data mining and predictive modeling.
  8. Experience with digital marketing analytics software (GA4/ GTM, Adobe, Salesforce, VisualIQ, etc.).
  9. Deep understanding of media landscape, site analytics, attribution, and CRM systems for holistic advising (ex. Adobe Omniture, Google 360, VisualIQ, Salesforce, Acoustic, Eloqua).
  10. Strong project management, attention to detail and time management skills.
  11. Excellent written and verbal communications skills including storytelling abilities.
  12. Proficiency with analytical software (e.g., SAS, SPSS, R, Alteryx, and/or Python).
  13. Working knowledge of database querying, reporting and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx, SQL).
  14. Working knowledge of Scrum/Agile experience and methodologies.
Salary Range:

Final compensation is anticipated to be up to $175k and will vary depending on the local market and the skills and experience of the ideal candidate at the time of hire.
