Job summary

Nektar Therapeutics seeks a Director, AI Program Management & Development Transformation to lead AI-enabled transformation across Development. You will drive process optimization, dashboards, and intelligent workflows, aligning with governance and responsible AI practices.

You will partner with Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, Biometrics, Regulatory Affairs, and other Development functions to identify high-impact AI use cases, develop roadmaps, and adoption strategies for Copilot and

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or life sciences.
Strong understanding of clinical development and related functions.
Experience enabling AI-enabled process improvements or digital transformation.
Hands-on experience with AI technologies to improve workflows and productivity.
Experience developing business requirements, workflows, dashboards, and automation.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of AI initiatives across Development and ensure alignment with priorities.
Evaluate and prioritize AI use cases based on impact, feasibility, and governance.
Develop implementation roadmaps, business cases, metrics, and adoption strategies.
Establish governance for AI project intake, prioritization, monitoring and reporting.
Drive adoption of Copilot and other AI tools with training and stakeholder engagement.
Foster cross-functional collaboration and present progress to senior leadership.
