Job summary

Riverside Research is seeking a senior Director to lead the Cognitive Intel Solutions team within the Sensors & Systems group. The Director will pursue and grow applied R&D with IC and DoD customers, and manage IR&D efforts across Fairfax, Lexington, and Beavercreek, reporting to the VP of the Sensors & Systems unit.

Ideal candidates hold TS/SCI clearance, a relevant advanced degree, and extensive leadership experience in multi-disciplinary programs with DoD/IC opportunities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain SAP access.
• Bachelor's degree and extensive leadership experience in R&D.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and growing an organization.
• Proven success in new business capture and proposal writing.
• Strong coordination and prioritization across programs and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute portfolio strategy to pursue R&D funding and growth.
• Provide technical direction and management oversight of IR&D budgets.
• Lead capture activities and proposals to expand technology baselines.
• Interact with DoD/IC customers to create new business opportunities.
• Collaborate across Riverside Research to transition innovative solutions.
• Mentor associate directors, managers, and scientists; grow leadership bench.
