Job summary

Flexjet is seeking a Director of AI Engineering to lead design, deployment, and operationalization of enterprise-scale ML and Generative AI systems. You will build and manage AI infrastructure, govern model lifecycles, and guide a team of AI and MLOps engineers to deliver secure and compliant production AI at scale.

You will partner with data science, software, security, DevOps, and product leadership to drive enterprise AI adoption and align technical strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering, ML engineering, or platform engineering experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and enterprise information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, architecture, and implementation of enterprise AI, Generative AI, and MLOps platforms.
• Design and scale cloud-native AI infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Oversee production deployment of ML and LLM-powered applications; ensure governance and retraining processes.
