Job summary

Machinify is seeking a Director of Quality Assurance Engineering to lead quality across the full SDLC, shaping how AI-generated code is tested and trusted. You will design strategies, metrics, and a scalable QA culture that balances velocity with rigorous standards.

You will own hiring targets, establish a modern QA framework, and partner with platforms, MLE, and product to drive quality at scale in a healthcare context across the US.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software quality engineering, including 4+ years in leadership.
• Experience transforming a quality function at scale, with org and role design.
• Experience evaluating AI-generated tests for correctness of intent and coverage.
• Experience with mutation testing, risk-based testing, and production observability.

Responsibilities

• Define an AI-driven quality architecture and data strategy within PHI-constrained environments.
• Establish release quality standards and exit criteria with cross-team alignment.
• Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing QA engineering team and set measurable quality goals.
