Responsibilities include presenting financial results and KPIs, conducting gross margin reviews, ensuring tax compliance, and guiding ERP-related initiatives with cross-functional teams. Strong collaboration and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Retail, consumer products, wholesale, manufacturing, or related industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of technology and ERP implementation.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

• Create, document, and implement internal accounting policies, workflows, and internal controls aligned with GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage and optimize the company's COGS structure.
• Establish and maintain departmental actuals versus budget tracking frameworks.
• Direct the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS.
• Present financial results and KPIs, and provide actionable recommendations for strategic decision-making.
• Perform regular gross margin reviews and identify risks and opportunities to improve profitability.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and Local tax requirements.
• Partner with the Head of Finance to guide ERP needs and support cross-functional teams in system implementation.
• Build reporting tools and automated workflows.
• Supervise AP, AR, inventory accounting, payroll, and day-to-day accounting operations.
