Job summary

Nscale is seeking a Director of Network & Compute Engineering to lead and scale the teams responsible for the network and compute platforms underpinning Nscale’s GPU cloud infrastructure. You will define the technical direction for data center networking, GPU fabrics, compute infrastructure, and automation, aligning with product leadership to balance long-term architecture with near-term customer needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
10+ years leading network, compute, infrastructure, or platform engineering teams.
Experience operating within a large cloud provider, ISP, hyperscale data center, or similarly complex infra.
Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Lead, develop, and scale a high-performing engineering org for network and compute platforms.
Define and execute multi-quarter initiatives to improve deployment velocity and reliability.
Establish technical strategy for data center networking, GPU fabrics, compute, and automation.
Partner with PM and engineering leaders to evolve the infra platform as a product.
Turn complex challenges into clear execution plans with cross-functional buy-in.
Drive alignment across teams spanning networking, compute, infra, automation, and tooling.
