Job summary

World Wildlife Fund is seeking a Director of Nature Finance and Investments to lead WWF's asset manager strategy and partnerships. The role focuses on driving capital flows to nature-based solutions and scaling impact through collaboration with asset managers, donors, and development finance institutions.

The position requires strong leadership, deal diligence, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders worldwide, including travel to priority regions in Latin America, Asia, and Africa.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services including private equity, venture capital, impact investing or conservation finance.
• Experience developing and evaluating investment strategies, conducting due diligence, and portfolio management.
• Experience with capital mobilization initiatives and working with development finance institutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee key elements of the asset manager strategy, including goals, implementation model, and partnerships.
• Identify and pursue new asset manager partnership opportunities across priority sectors such as sustainable infrastructure and carbon finance.
• Lead due diligence, prepare partnership recommendations, and present to senior management and governance bodies.
• Forge relationships with external partners including fund managers, funders, and investors.
• Represent WWF at external events and travel up to 25% to priority regions.
