Job summary

FreshPoint, Inc. is seeking a merchandising leader responsible for the overall performance and management of the merchandising department, including order fulfillment, inventory control to minimize DSO, profitability through margin and earned income, and supporting sales growth.

You will assist in warehouse efficiency and direct department staff. Responsibilities include directing local merchandising, negotiating local programs, growing gross margin, managing shrink, and overseeing purchasing

Qualifications

• 4-year degree (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• 4 years in purchasing experience in produce or foodservice distribution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and manage local level programs
• Grow company gross margin and earned income while achieving sales and operational efficiency targets
