CEBA is seeking a Director of Membership in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work setup. You will lead the full membership lifecycle, drive revenue growth, and ensure a high-value member experience across recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and renewal.

CEBA is seeking a highly motivated Director of Membership to execute a data-driven membership strategy that fuels growth, delivers impacts and sustains value to our members. Reporting to the Chief Business Officer, the Director of Membership is a critical leadership role responsible for setting and executing the organization’s membership strategy, driving sustainable revenue growth, and ensuring a high-value, mission-aligned member experience. This role oversees the full membership lifecycle—recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention, and renewal—and serves as a key connector between members, internal teams, and organizational leadership. The Director of Membership brings a strategic mindset balanced with hands‑on execution, using data, relationship management, and market insight to strengthen and grow the membership base. This role plays a critical part in supporting the sustainability of the organization and the value proposition to its members. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with team collaboration days on Mondays and Wednesdays and one additional in-office day each week, determined by team priorities.
This role will supervise the Membership Team, with the possibility of further team growth.

The expected base salary for this role ranges from $110,000 to $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications. The Director, Membership may be eligible to supplement their base salary with specific performance-based bonus incentives which include direct growth‑target incentives. In addition, all CEBA employees are eligible to participate in the annual bonus incentive plan, which is based on both organizational and individual performance, up to 20% for this role.
